DJ Soltrix

Born and raised in Tampa, FL, DJ Soltrix started mixing and producing music when he was only 15 years old. He was inspired by local radio DJs and how they were capable of flawlessly blending tracks together into a high energy mix for thousands of listeners to enjoy. In 2008, he began working as a DJ in a local Latin radio station and quickly gained recognition in his community through his talents. His popularity continued to grow and he landed weekly residencies in some of the most prestigious nightclubs in Tampa. In 2012, he created and formed what is now known as the #1 Latin remix online store which features some of the world's most renowned Latin remixers: LatinRemixes.com. As a remixer, DJ Soltrix is well-known amongst the Latin DJ community and his remixes can be heard throughout Latin nightclubs across the globe. Some of the artists that he has produced club remixes for include: Prince Royce, Plan B, Tito El Bambino, Don Omar, Toby Love and countless more. His goals now are to travel and share his talents with the rest of the world.

Javier & Katya (LA)

Ekaterina Ivanova, born in Russia, began her dancing passion at the age of 6. Her parents discovered her raw talent at a very young age and supported Katya's desire to perform professionally on stage. 8 years later while simultaneously studying music and dance, she graduated from the School of Prokofiev. Katya Ivanova continued her music education and perfected her vocal craft at the College of Gnesine.
Ekaterina’s professional career started when she was accepted into one of the most famous schools, Opera Center of Galina Vishnevskaya, in Moscow, Russia—furthering her singing and dancing skills. There she traveled internationally performing with some of the biggest names in Russian opera history. Upon graduating, Ekaterina understood the importance of higher education therefore attended Moscow State University of Humanitarian Studies, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science: International Relations.
 
Soon after, she became a member of Russia’s famous choreographer, Alla Duhova's : Todes Contemporary Russian Ballet in Moscow for 3 years. There she trained in International Latin and Standard Ballroom dance. In 2011, she was selected to perform as debutant at the prestigious yearly event, Vienna Ball in Moscow.
 
She currently dances and trains with her partner Javier Rebollar; putting their talents together they have already made a success winning competitions such as USA Dance National Salsa Championship, Borderline Salsa Competition and the Afro-Latin Bachata Festival in Las Vegas. Ekaterina has also won 1st place in Top Solo Female Competition of 2013. As a dancer she has worked on a CBS commercial for The Arsenio Hall Show. She’s made appearances on CNN Latino and hit show 12 Corazones.
Together with her partner Javier they have founded the company JKDANCEFORYOU, growing together as dancers, teachers and performers around the world.
 
Javier Rebollar,
professional dancer, performer and choreographer, currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. His talent and ability led him into the arts and acting world.
 
Born in a beautiful small town in the Estado de Mexico, not far from the capitol district, Javier began his young career as a dancer in middle school, dancing folklorico, the traditional Mexican dance. He was still a teenager when he ventured to the USA, determined to pursue his career. Not with standing his devotion to his craft, Rebollar managed to obtain a liberal arts degree from the California State University at Northridge, at the same time that he performed with team Tropical Rhythm. Turning himself to education at the professional level, he studied at the Grizzly Dance Company for more than four years, where he developed a proficiency in salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Merengue, Jazz, Contemporary Hip-Hop, Reggeaton and Tango.
 
His longstanding dance partner, whom we refer to above and to whom he has so much to owe, is the gorgeous, stunning and Russian hailing Ekaterina “Katya” Ivanova.

Rodney Rodchata Aquino

Aside from being the first organize to bring Bachata Festival in the USA (Reno & San Francisco in 2009), Rodney is also a one-time co-organizer of the very first Dominican Republic Bachata Festival in Santo Domingo.

A top organizer of bachata festivals all over and with over 150,000 subscribers in his newsletter and over 30,000 friends combined in myspace, twitter, tribe and facebook, Rodney Rodchata Aquino is a popular Latin Dance instructor, promoter and lecturer in the world. He was the first man in history to ever organize the very 1st international bachata festival in USA (Reno Bachata Convention, SF Bachata Festival), and co-organize Lithuanian Bachata Festival, DC Bachata Congress, and soon in Hawaii, Seattle and Puerto Vallarta. Solely responsible for revolutionizing bachata dance in USA, RODCHATA, as bachateros intimately calls him, has been in the Latin Dance scene for over 15 years and is considered the foremost authority in the bachata dance, both Dominican and Modern styles. He recently launched his much awaited dance DVD line up, Latin Dance Stimulus, a 5-volume of dance instructional DVDs of bachata, salsa and merengue.

A certified instructor, his dance background includes Latin International Ballroom, salsa (on1, on2 mambo, and Cuban son, Casino), cumbia, chachacha, merengue and bachata. His first encounter of the bachata dance was in the New York area in the 90’s. He embarked himself into dancing bachata and studying the culture and since revolutionized bachata dancing in USA and the world.

He is the founder of the Salsagang.com (MySalsaNetwork), a dance website that revolutionized salsa dancing in the Bay Area. He also founded iBachata.net, and Rodchata.com that produces successful events such as Annual Reno Intl Bachata Convention, Annual San Francisco Bachata International Festival, Club Bachata and Havanisimo events. He had the opportunity to teach the Latin Dance at major events all over Europe, Asia, Australia, USA and beyond. Aside from teaching all over the world, he also teaches regular bachata and salsa classes all over the Bay Area.

Rodchata has MA in Counseling Psychology and is presently a PhD student. He is a certified Personal Fitness Trainer and holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in the Martial Arts. His experience in the Martial Arts for 20 years and his background in Fitness Training plays a vital role on his effectiveness as a dance teacher.
